San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, with Pueblos Mágicos in between.

San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato sit an easy ninety minutes apart in the central highlands, and together they hold the colonial heart of Mexico: cobblestone, courtyards, cathedral bells, and color on every wall. This trip gives you four nights in San Miguel and three in Guanajuato, with a single unhurried move between them and Pueblos Mágicos in reach of both.
It is the one launch trip with two bases, and the move is short and scenic. Everything else is designed and arranged in advance.

Cobblestone, courtyards, and the pink spires of the Parroquia. A historic center on foot, Atotonilco and Pozos within reach, and a slower last day before the move.
You fly into the Bajío and transfer to San Miguel de Allende. Settle in, then walk to the Jardín to watch the pink spires of the Parroquia catch the last light.

The historic center: the churches and courtyards, the galleries, and Fábrica La Aurora, a former textile mill turned art center. The afternoon for rooftops, shops, and the town’s quietly serious food scene.

A day out to the Sanctuary of Atotonilco, a UNESCO-listed church often called the Sistine Chapel of Mexico, paired with Mineral de Pozos, a former mining town turned Pueblo Mágico of studios and ruins.

A slower day: a morning in the thermal springs in the countryside nearby, or a cooking class, with the afternoon left open for the town itself.

A city of tunnels and stepped alleys folded into a ravine. The Pípila view, the Jardín de la Unión, the callejones, and La Valenciana on the hill above.
A scenic transfer to Guanajuato, a city of tunnels and stepped alleyways folded into a ravine. The first evening on the Jardín de la Unión, beside the Teatro Juárez.

The funicular up to El Pípila for the view over the painted houses, the Diego Rivera birthplace museum, the Mercado Hidalgo, and the university steps. In the evening, a callejoneada through the alleys with strolling musicians.

The morning at La Valenciana, the hilltop church and silver mine that built Guanajuato’s fortune. The afternoon is yours for the cafés, plazas, and alleys that reward simply wandering.

A last morning, then a private transfer to the Bajío airport. No detours, no overnights in transit — the story ends in the morning, exactly where the next chapter will begin.
A boutique-character hotel in San Miguel de Allende for four nights, and a character property in Guanajuato for three. Restored, full of character, never a chain. Confirmed properties are set when you book.
We design and arrange the trip: the two hotels, the transfer between them, the day trips, the reservations. You book and pay your hotels and experiences directly, under their terms. We hold no deposit and no trip funds.
A romantic dinner. A sunset experience. A private celebration on the right night. A milestone moment marked the way you’ll want to remember it.
Each signature trip can be designed for two. We shape the moments to the occasion — and discuss the specifics by phone.
